Oh nein, stopp, nicht Gallien, sondern das ehemalige Noricum, genauer Boiotro im früheren Noricum gelegen, hat nun drei Limes Ciceronae, die sich aufmachen, Sie durch das Römermuseum Boiotro zu führen und Ihnen das Leben (und Leiden) am ehemaligen „nassen“ Limes, einer Grenze des römischen Reiches näher zu bringen.

Nach einer spannenden und umfangreichen Zusatzausbildung können wir Sie nun ganz offiziell als zertifizierte Limes Ciceronae zu den drei Teil-Weltkulturerbestätten in Passau „Grenzen des Römischen Reiches“ Boiotro, Batavis und dem Burgus informieren.

Tauchen Sie mit uns in die Vergangenheit ein und erfahren Sie, „Was vom Limes übrig blieb“, wie die „Kulinarische Heimat in der Fremde“ aussah oder wie „Kriege, Krisen, Katastrophen“ das Leben prägten.

Bei einer extra für Kinder ausgearbeiteten Kinderführung zeigt die römische Kastellkatze Limi, wie das Leben damals am Limes wirklich war, da sie auf Mäusejagd jeden Winkel der Kastelle erkunden konnte.

On a guided tour designed especially for children, Limi, the Roman fort cat, shows what life was really like back then along the Limes, since she was able to explore every corner of the forts while hunting for mice.
